Oyster Bay is a village on the Eastern Cape coast between Cape St Francis and Tsitsikamma.
This small place lies, as its name implies, in a bay surrounded by beautiful sand dunes. The dunes are in fact the sources of the Sand River (literally a river of sand) which "flows" many kilometers towards St Francis Bay.
Oyster Bay is remote, quiet, picturesque but offers a good variety of activities together with superlative beaches with all the water sports this offers.
Oyster Bay is not a major tourist destination which makes it very suitable for those who really want to get away from it all on their holiday.
